March 3, 2005 - April 16, 2005

Anita Shapolsky Gallery proudly presents works of four abstract painters. The exhibition documents the development and accomplishment of abstract expressionism in America and the progression of work over the years of each artist. Various works of Amaranth Ehrenhalt, William Manning, Thomas Nonn and Richards Ruben inventively and passionately explore the language of life, color and shape in the tradition of the New York School.

On display will be paper works and paintings of William Manning, inspired by his native Maine, dynamic and colorful paintings by Amaranth Ehrenhalt, who works both in Paris and the United States, shaped canvases and paper works by Richards Ruben and matter paintings inspired by architecture of Thomas Nonn.

Gallery Hours: Wed – Sat, 11 – 6 pm
